The ATLAS Mission

APS, through education and research, will create an environment where all professions are essentially speaking the same language. In doing so, athletes and patients will be able to experience the same ‘system/perspective’ of management and treatment despite what setting they are in or what profession they are engaging with. This will promote standardization of care amongst professions and providers, increase access and may reduce error in diagnosis and treatment.

Additionally, APS is the first entity to establish integrated systems performance evaluation and management. This is a major paradigm shift from the current logic which tends to reside in localized, symptom-based management.  We believe that performance care access will result in fewer non-contact injuries, improve recovery and optimize athletic potential.
